This compact safari is designed for those who want to experience the diversity of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes in a short amount of time. Day One kicks off with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and vast elephant populations. The park is a scenic gem, with a spectacular setting at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment and a soda ash lake attracting vibrant flamingos and other diverse birdlife. Following Manyara, the journey continues to Tarangire National Park, known for its baobab-dotted landscape and large herds of elephants. Tarangire offers an exceptional game viewing experience, particularly during the dry season when animals congregate around the Tarangire River. Frequently Asked & Question

We recommend packing light and including essentials such as comfortable clothing, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, a camera, binoculars for wildlife viewing, and a reusable water bottle. Don't forget to bring a warm jacket, as mornings and evenings can be cool, especially in the Ngorongoro Crater.

While animal sightings can never be guaranteed, your visit to Ngorongoro Crater greatly increases your chances of seeing the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo). Ngorongoro is known for its dense wildlife population, which includes all five members. Lake Manyara and Tarangire are excellent for spotting elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.

Accommodations for the overnight stay in Tarangire range from luxury lodges to tented camps, depending on your preference and budget. All options provide comfortable amenities and allow you to experience the natural environment of Tanzania. Please let us know your accommodation preferences when booking your safari.
